The customer service was amazing from the time I walked in until the time I checked out. Would stay here again and I wish I knew the names of the people that took grear care of me.
Spent the night here with my husband and kids for a concert at Fox Theater. Location was good for the venue,Uber got us there in under 5 minutes. We ended up paying for the valet out of convenience, although they don’t offer in&out services so once they take your car you can’t get it back to run around the city. This worked for us but might not work for others. As far as safety goes,I never felt unsafe at the hotel or outside the theater. It’s Oakland for crying out loud and if you’re not familiar with its reputation it would help to do a little research before you trash this hotel. Front desk was polite and she did her job just fine. I think some people except to be treated like the Queen of England when they check in and when front desk doesn’t grovel at their feet it’s the worst stay ever. This hotel was clean, had great security and fit our needs at a good price. Do a little research on parking, like any Bay Area city, and you’ll be fine.
This was a great last min find. Great price, clean hotel and comfy bed. Bed was a lil squeaky but otherwise great. The checkin person was welcoming and outgoing. It was very nice to be greeted by Alshanay. She took great care of us! My only negative is parking cost 50 bucks. Next time I will take ride share instead of drive . Overall would stay here again!!
Was there for five nights. Great location, walking distance to BART, restaurants, Chinatown, coffee.
The facility was nice and clean. Not the greatest location. Parking not great. We were lucky to have gotten parking out front Staff were really nice and helpful.
The rooms are great and the free breakfast is a life saver, the only complaint is the lux club next door can be heard from any of the rooms that are in the teens.
Hotel room and staff were great. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel only has valet parking and some rooms have views of the alley. Near Chinatown and easy access to freeway.
